Synendoche, New York Premieres!

Samantha's upcoming film "Synendoche, New York" enjoyed a glowing reception during it's recent premiere at the Cannes film festival. Reviews have been generally positive for the brain bending film, which was both written and directed by Charlie "Adaptation" Kaufman. Inexplicably, no trailer has been released for it yet. I will post it as soon as it becomes available. The movie has it's proper opening in the states in a few months. Be on the lookout!

Madam Lonely

Samantha Morton is starring in Harmony Korine's new film "Mister Lonely." The film follows the misadventures of a Michael Jackson impersonator who befriends a Marilyn Monroe impersonator played by Samantha. It sounds ridiculously surreal but why read what I have to say when you can just watch the trailer? Here it is.

The stork has done his job

Hear ye! Hear ye! Samantha is a mommy! Samantha and hubby Harry Holm have welcomed a new girl into the world. Congrats guys!

And since you asked, here is some advice on how to successfully raise a girl into the modern world:

*Do NOT let her watch MTV. You want to raise a classy princess not a street walker.
*Get her into Harry Potter as soon as possible. It will probably lead to more reading and we all know knowledge is power.
*Eat organic! I heard it makes you more honorable.

Ok. That's all I got. I am available for consultation at a nominal fee.

Is love really going to tear us apart again?

Samantha returns to the big screen on October 10th, starring in the Joy Division/Ian Curtis biopic "Control." You are probably saying to yourself "wait, wasn't there one of these a year or two ago?" Yes. and no. That one was more about the owner of their record label, Tony Wilson. This one is more about the lads themselves, in particular Ian Curtis. Whereas "24 Hour Party People" glossed over his unfortunate suicide,  "Control" will give it the center stage it deserves. I'm kidding. Mostly. I am still excited for this movie because Samantha looks great and the tunes are good. What more do you need?

Samantha's almost a mommy again

First let me clear the air. I put "almost" in the title but I am in no way getting involved in the pro-life/abortion argument. I understand it is a gray and multi-faceted issue that could not be helped by me making a bad pun or a fart joke. God do I ever want to make a fart joke though.

Anyway, several renowned(and the Observer) British papers have reported that Little Miss Morton is pregnant again! Soon she'll give birth to a second bundle of joy. Finally Esme can have some company. She needs someone to hang out with while her mum is off predicting the future with Tom Cruise or something. That's it for now. I'll try to get some pictures after she starts to show. For now, here is a photo of her from the neck up. She could very well be pregnant in it! Everybody loves a pregnant lady.
